It’s that time of the year again. You know what I’m talking about, the Tenth Annual Chili Bowl Express Fundraiser for the Sonoma Community Center. The event is on February 23 but my advice is buy your tickets early as they often sell out. And I’d add, arrive early for best selection of bowls (over 700). You get to keep the bowls, made by studio and guest artists, plus some fabulous gourmet chili. But wait! The best part is you are going to run into all your neighbors you keep meaning to have lunch with but somehow never do.
I have a new listing in Glen Ellen, (3 bedroom, 2 bath) near downtown (if a village can be said to have a downtown) with all it’s truly fine dining, Village Market with a mouth watering deli and hot bar, wineries and our newest attractions, an eclectic mercantile and a French bakery, Les Pascales.
Another event I look forward to every year is the Transcendence Theater productions at the Jack London State Historic Park. The first show is A Chorus Line, June 14-30. The Huffington Post calls it “Joyous, uplifting…the most unforgettable evening of my summer…Broadway Under the Stars completely blew me away.” I couldn’t have said it better.
